Harper Vale boutique in Nashville — shirts and blouses farewell sale

Shirts & Blouses

Shirts were the thing Harper argued with sales reps about. She held every white blouse up to the window before she bought it, because she said the only reason a white shirt comes back is that nobody checked. She bought the cotton ones for July and the satin ones for December. The embroidered ones — real embroidery, raised under a thumb, never printed — because that is what you still like about a shirt three summers later. And then the ones she ordered against advice: the yellow, the watermelon red, the gold one that was supposed to be for the party season and ended up on women in jeans in February.

This year, Harper and Tom’s health no longer allows them to run the shop, and after eighteen years the doors have to close. Rather than close quietly, their children Valentina and Ethan are seeing every last shirt to a good home at up to 70% off — our thank-you for eighteen years. Nothing is being reordered: when a size is gone, it is gone.

    With love,
    Harper, Tom, Valentina & Ethan
